Floorlo Terms and Conditions

1. Services Provided

We specialize in interior design services, which include but are not limited to design consultations, space planning, material selection, project management, and execution of design concepts. Our services are customized based on the client’s needs, and the scope of services may vary depending on the project's complexity and the specifications provided by the client. A detailed agreement outlining the scope of services will be provided prior to the commencement of any project.

2. Client Responsibilities

To ensure the success of the project, clients must provide accurate, complete, and timely information regarding their preferences, budget, and project requirements. It is also the client's responsibility to grant access to the property or site where the design work is to be carried out and to ensure the space is ready for our team to execute the work. Clients are expected to collaborate, review, and approve designs, materials, and budget proposals promptly to avoid delays in project timelines.

3. Pricing and Payment Terms

At FloorLo, we strive to provide clear and transparent pricing for our interior design services. The payment structure for any project consists of multiple stages, ensuring that both parties are aligned and that the project progresses smoothly. Below is a detailed explanation of our pricing and payment terms:

(a)Estimation and Booking Fee

Initially, we provide our clients with an estimate for the project based on the scope of work and design requirements. The estimate provided to you is valid for a period of 7 days from the date it is issued. If, after this period, you wish to proceed with the project or request any changes to the original design or scope of work, please be aware that additional costs may apply. This estimate outlines the anticipated cost for the services and materials involved. However, please note that the final cost may vary depending on specific client requirements, changes in the scope of work, or unforeseen circumstances.

To secure your project, we require a Booking Fee of 10% of the estimated project value. This booking fee acts as a confirmation of your commitment to moving forward with the design project and secures the necessary resources and time allocation. Importantly, this booking fee is credited toward the final payment for your project and will be adjusted against the total amount due. This means that the amount you pay as part of the booking fee will be deducted from the overall cost of the project.

(b)Payment Upon Order Confirmation

Once you approve the estimate and the design concept, and you confirm your intent to proceed with the project, we require 60% of the project value to be paid. This payment is due at the point of order confirmation. At this stage, we begin the process of procuring materials, engaging third-party vendors, and preparing the necessary steps to begin the execution of the design work. This payment ensures that all resources and services required for the project are secured and that the work can commence promptly.

(c)Payment During Execution Stages

As the project progresses, and before any final delivery or completion of work, we require 30% of the project value to be paid. This payment is due prior to the delivery and installation phase. During the execution of the design, this payment ensures that all ongoing work, including site visits, installation of furniture, and the procurement of materials, is covered. It also helps to ensure that the project remains on schedule without delays in completing critical stages of the work.

(d)Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that plans may change, and cancellations might be necessary in certain circumstances. That’s why we offer a 72-hour cancellation period following the booking of your project. If you decide to cancel your project within 72 hours of placing the booking and making the payment, you will be entitled to a full refund of the booking fee (the initial 10% payment).

No refund will be issued if the cancellation is made after the 72-hour period. After this window, the booking fee is non-refundable as we begin to allocate resources, schedule labor, and make commitments to third-party vendors and suppliers. It is important to understand that the 72-hour cancellation period is strictly enforced, and any cancellations made after this period will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee.

By adhering to this payment structure, we ensure that our clients are protected throughout the process, while also securing the necessary funds to deliver high-quality design and execution. Should there be any questions or concerns regarding the payment terms, we encourage clients to reach out to us directly before proceeding with any payment.

4. Modifications to Services

If, during the course of the project, the client requests any changes or adjustments to the design or scope of services, these modifications may result in additional costs. Any changes to the original design or service plan will require the client's written approval before being implemented.

5. Project Timeline

While we strive to meet the estimated project completion date, timelines are subject to change due to factors such as material availability, client decision-making delays, or other unforeseen circumstances. We will communicate any significant delays to the client promptly.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

All design concepts, plans, drawings, and other creative works produced by FloorLo remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, the client is granted a non-transferable license to use the designs for their intended purpose. The client may not reproduce or distribute the design work without prior written consent from FloorLo.

7. Third-Party Contractors

In some cases, we may engage third-party contractors or vendors to fulfill certain aspects of the project. These third parties will operate under their own terms and conditions, and clients are expected to adhere to any additional terms related to third-party services.

8. Cancellation and Termination

If a client decides to cancel the project before completion, they are responsible for paying for all work completed and expenses incurred up to the point of cancellation. Similarly, we reserve the right to terminate the agreement if the client fails to meet their responsibilities, such as failing to make payments or provide necessary approvals. In the event of termination, the client may not be entitled to a refund, depending on the circumstances.

9. Confidentiality

We value the privacy of our clients and agree to keep any confidential information shared during the project confidential. Likewise, clients agree not to disclose or use any proprietary designs, ideas, or materials provided by FloorLo for any purpose other than the agreed-upon project.

10. Limitation of Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure the quality and safety of our services, FloorLo is not liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of our services or products, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct. In no event will our liability exceed the total amount paid by the client for the services in question.

11. Privacy Policy

We collect and store personal information provided by clients for the purpose of communication and project management. This information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law. We also use cookies on our website to enhance user experience, and a detailed Cookie Policy is available on our site.

12. Force Majeure

FloorLo will not be held liable for delays or failures to deliver services caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, strikes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

13. Amendments to Terms and Conditions

FloorLo reserves the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients will be notified of any material changes, and continued use of the website or services after such changes will constitute acceptance of the revised terms.
